There is something about walking through the fallen leaves of a mountain aspen stand, on a crisp October day, with the smell of fall in the air, a shotgun slung over your shoulder and a bird dog anxiously zig zagging its way through the cover that settles the soul.

At Canada Outdoor Adventures, we offer October Upland Game Bird hunts in our 1-million-acre hunting area on the edge of Banff National Park. Five sub-species of grouse call these mountains home and we have opportunities to harvest many of these species each year. Hunters enjoy healthy daily bag limits of Ruffed Grouse, Spruce Grouse, Sharp Tailed Grouse, Blue Grouse and Ptarmigan, all within minutes of our Deluxe Mountain Lodge. Many hunters combine Fly Fishing for trout on this adventure to truly make it a Trip -of-a-Lifetime.
